Itinerary

Desarrollaremos los sentidos al máximo una vez que nos adentremos en las selvas del norte de Sumatra, podremos realizar un descenso en rafting por el majestuoso río Wampu, caminaremos y dormiremos en el interior del Parque Nacional de Leuser al encuentro de los numerosos orangutanes, elephants and gibbons that inhabit this wild redoubt of Sumatra. The adventure will continue on Raja Ampat , West Papua, Indonesia. We will delve into the deepest corners of Raja Ampat in a fiberglass boat with outboard motors, we will spend the night in local houses located next to deserted beaches under the light of the stars. During our speedboat safari we may hardly see other visitors or witness large turtles nesting on the beach, indicating the high degree of isolation of this incomparable Indonesian paradise.. Días 3-4

Day 03: 01/10/22 Jakarta - Medan – Tangkahan

Traslado al aeropuerto y vuelo a Medan. Llegada a Medan y traslado a Tangkhan vía Binjai y Tanjung Pura. El trayecto discurre entre grandes plantaciones de palmeras productoras de aceite de palma. Llegada a Tangkhan situado en el interior del Parque Nacional de Leuser. Alojamiento en hotel local. Para acceder al hotel tendremos que cruzar el río Batam en barcaza o puente colgante. Tarde libre para caminar junto al río y disfrutar el entorno natural donde se encuentra ubicado el alojamiento. Con un poco de suerte podremos escuchar como algunos grupos de elefantes se acercar por las tardes para sumergirse en sus aguas y las sobrecogedoras llamadas de grandes orangutanes machos.

Day 04: 02/10/22 Tankaham – Caminata en el Parque Nacional – Tubing rafting

Tras el desayuno comenzaremos nuestra marcha por el interior de la selva. Realizaremos una caminata de unas 3 horas siguiendo las huellas del tigre y de los elefantes salvajes, bajo la mirada curiosa de gibones que con su elegancia al saltar de rama en rama acompañarán la marcha. El camino es relativamente sencillo con algunas subidas y divertidos descensos. Con la ayuda de nuestros guías y porteadores nos internaremos en la selva cruzando ríos y arroyos, contemplando este entorno natural y su abundante flora con árboles centenarios, plantas medicinales, concentraciones de mariposas, macacos y aves.
